Not sure what to say?

To the Cheves Family
Please accept our deepest condolences as we have all lost a treasured member of our lives. it was thru my father, Ace Black that I got to know Joe at a very early age; it was him that taught me the beauty of the game of golf. And what a teacher....to this day i am told that I must have had a very good teacher.
I know these are sad times for you, but as with my father, soon you will remember Joe and smile.
I know he and dad, with too many other friends we have...

Carolyn,
Please accept my condolences.

Martha,Carter,Emily,Dan and Family;
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope that you sense the enormity of the Love and Respect with which pro was held by those who were touched by his life. I am fortunate to have been one of those. Please accept our deepest sympathies on Pro moving from this life to the next.

The Cheves Family: Our family's thoughts and prayers are with you. Pro had a great life and helped so many people. I like to think that he's helping Fred Patton with his golf swing at this very moment.

What a wonderful teacher of the game of golf as well as life. You will truly be missed. Thanks for the great memories of our golf. Our thoughts and prayers go out to each of the family members. Heaven's gain is surely our great loss. The Robertson Family: Jerry, Barbara, James, Lauren and Andrew.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

We loved Joe and the family, and always loved having them come to our family reunions.(He always brought big bags of mountain apples to share) The main thing that I loved about him was his gentle spirit and caring attitude about everyone else. He was one of my Dad's favorite cousins and I loved hearing the stories about when they were growing up in South Carolina. Please know that I am with you today in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep the first Sunday in May and the lst Sunday in...
