Joe Duncan Obituary

Joe Edward Duncan of Hernando, Mississippi passed away on August 7th, 2024 at the age of 73 in Memphis, TN. Known affectionately by his family as "Poppy", Joe was born on December 18th, 1950 in Wynne, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his wife and best friend, Barbara Duncan. He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Murphy, granddaughter/granddaughter-in-love Erica (aka "Turtle") and Megan Shroder, his beloved great-granddaughter who he affectionately referred to as "Trouble", and his four-legged best friends Knox and Murphy. He is also survived by his brother Buddy Duncan (Billie), sister Polly Rains, and niece Jo Carol Long. We find peace in knowing Joe is now with Barbara - golfing, fishing, and scratching his lottery tickets.

A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, August 13th with visitation the night prior on Monday, August 12th from 5-7 pm at Memphis Funeral Home (5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119).
