I can recall Joe from our Sidney Lanier High School not only as a classmate . But as a individual who always said Hi and smiled to whoever he encountered ! Very good natured fool of life . Joe was loved by everyone . Who didn't know Joe ? His sense of humor , charm and just loved to hade a good head over his shoulder . Though life cut to damn short . Let us ALL take a reflection on Joe's legacy . Still in thoughts and still remembering we were Blessed to have friend called Joe. Miss You Dude !

My Dear friend,

Condolences to the Gamez family, I just found out from some friends at work in which I introduced Joe to for business association during his time at the Marriott what had happened, we were going through the same situaiton with our Mother around the same time which is why we didn't know. We had to take her home out of the country and it is a very sad situation not having the opportunity to bring my family to share the burden and help at the time, also to say goodbye to Joe. Great person, my great friend Joe I will find your resting place and bring my family and some flowers to see you brother.

I am still in shock and horror over the passing of one of the best guys I have ever known. I always called him the "Mayor of Stone Oak", because there was no one in Stone Oak that did know him because he was the friendliest and warmest person. Never without a smile and a light in those eyes, he made you feel like family the first minute you met him.
And what a character!! That wicked sense of humor was priceless!!
I am mad, sad, melancholy and everything in between, because such a gem was taken from the ones who loved him so.
I am so, so sorry Rose and family and I am so sorry Joe that your precious life had to end much too soon.
You were and are a treasure to all of us who knew you and I feel a little better knowing that you are now our guardian angel, there is no one that will take better care of us than you.

Rest in Peace My Friend...........

It has taken me sometime to find the words to write and also to stop crying long enough to get through this. You were simply the Best!!! You were always a hoot to be with and I never was scared of you being in my comp set because we were always really good friends King & Queen of Stone Oak, lol... Your mentorship will always be cherished and used in my daily sales efforts and I will always remember your guidance in molding me to be more patient, and not to be so quick to give an answer without thinking about what Im saying first. Gosh Ive grown a lot and I thank you so much. I am deeply saddened that I'm in Kentucky and cannot say goodbye today but I'm there in spirit and you already know that I Love You. Keep me straight while you're up there watching over us and I will do my best to continue to make you proud down here. RIP my beloved friend.

My heart goes out to Joe's family during this difficult time. He brought so many happy moments into everyone's life and left us with a treasure trove of memories. I will miss him popping into my office with cookies and chatting over a drink at happy hour. Joe was a gift from heaven, whose purpose was to make this world understand what love, friendship, goodness, and humbleness was all about. He succeeded. Joe, you will be missed but not forgotten.

R.I.P Joe. A great man, and an awesome friend; my best friend's father who always treated me like part of the family. I've only known him and his family three years. We shared fruitful conversations on art and music, and at times he wanted to help me spread my artwork. The short time I knew Joe was enough time to realize the fun, free-living guy he was. Now that he has passed, my family, and I will miss him greatly. We offer our condolences and my deepest sympathies go out to Rose, Alicia, Autumn, Adriana, Andrew and Anthony- I've enjoyed every second of knowing your family, and I love you guys very much.

July 10, 2013

To Rose,
I dont know you but,as a recent young widow, I pray you find strength in the Lord to comfort you. Stay close to your Lord & Savior and I promise, time will heal your broken heart and lessen your sadness. God Bless you.

I had the pleasure of knowing Joe in high school. There was never a boring moment when you hung out with Joe. He was funny, and very kind. Don't lose your faith. God has a reason for taking Joe. We may not always understand His reasons, but just know that Joe Albert is in the presence of our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. You WILL see him again. God bless you.

So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy.
