Not sure what to say?

What an amazing testament to a man who refused to be anything but extraordinary! Inspirational! I only met him once over 30 years ago, but got to learn more about him through others later on.

I didn't know Joe personally - and it certainly sounds as if that was my loss! But I have had the huge pleasure of having Mimi as my friend for over 30 years. Her smiling renditions of her very regular times with her father left me appreciating the man for his dedication & enthusiasm. To keep her coming every week, he made sure their times were exciting & ever changing. They played racquetball, went ball room dancing, took lessons in many things, went skiing when they didn't know how &...

Mimi, what a beautiful testimony of your father's life. My love and prayers as you celebrate his life and carry his love in your heart always. I'm praying for God's peace as you all go through this sad time of loss. With heartfelt condolences, Shelley Haimson

Sherry is a longtime friend. Several year ago I visited her and met Joe. He was a brilliant, spiritual and kind man. The love they shared was radiant. My deepest sympathy to all the family for your loss, Kate McKinney Dayton, Ohio

Mimi, your father's life sounds so amazing and now I know why you are the most precious, thoughtful and loving friend I have. Thank you for sharing. I will buy you an ice cream sundae next time I see you in memory of your father, Joe Jahoda. I love you. Love and Light, Carole

Mimi, I didn't think it was possible to encapsulate someone's life in one long paragraph, and certainly there is a mountain of detail behind this obituary, but what an a amazing testimony! If we all lived as Joe did, think of what a fantastic place the world would be. Thankfully, he sowed enough seed to continue through his friends and family this outrageously wonderful way of looking at life. We will be there with you on Saturday. Much love to all--Mike & Donna

Dearest Mimi, John and family,
What an amazing legacy your Dad left behind. Mimi I can only imagine what what a compassionate and loving father he was to you. May all of your treasured Memories bring you some peace during this hard time of grieving. My heartfelt sympathy ... Wish I would have known him Mimi. My love and prayers, Pam

I had the privilege of meeting Joe on a few occasions and from the first meeting, I could see how spiritual and how very special he was. It was obvious that he and Sherry shared a very special relationship that was formed by mutual respect and love for each other. My prayers and thoughts for all who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life.
Love to Sherry and family,
Ann Fitts
