What an amazing testament to a man who refused to be anything but extraordinary! Inspirational! I only met him once over 30 years ago, but got to learn more about him through others later on.

Sherry is a longtime friend. Several year ago I visited her and met Joe. He was a brilliant, spiritual and kind man. The love they shared was radiant. My deepest sympathy to all the family for your loss, Kate McKinney Dayton, Ohio

Mimi, I didn't think it was possible to encapsulate someone's life in one long paragraph, and certainly there is a mountain of detail behind this obituary, but what an a amazing testimony! If we all lived as Joe did, think of what a fantastic place the world would be. I had the privilege of meeting Joe on a few occasions and from the first meeting, I could see how spiritual and how very special he was. It was obvious that he and Sherry shared a very special relationship that was formed by mutual respect and love for each other. My prayers and thoughts for all who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life.
