Joe Reeves Naylor Joe Reeves Naylor was taken from us early this past Thursday, January 20, 2005. Joe was born in 1954 in Portales, New Mexico, grew up in Amarillo and attended Amarillo High School. He graduated from West Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and worked for State Farm Insurance for 27 years as a Claims Manager. He was a member of the Optimist Club of America. He was involved in the activities of his children and enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and life with his family. He leaves wife Carla, son Cole, daughter Jessica, father and mother J.B. and Betty Naylor of Amarillo. He is also survived by family in Amarillo, including brothers, Kelton, Nelson and wife Korinne, Russell and wife Candice, sisters, Jade Jennings and husband Mickey, Jona Huber and husband Jake, brother in-law Jim Hatfield and wife Lynn of New Mexico, seven nieces, and four nephews, along with countless friends throughout the country. He will be missed by all who knew him. The Family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Naylor Children College Fund, c/o Jim Alfred, 5800 North Mopac, Austin, TX 78731, (512) 419-3461, or The Missy Project for Brain Aneurism Research, 11303 Dead Oak Lane, Austin, Texas 78759. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2005, at Riverbend Church, 4214 Capitol of Texas Highway North.
