Elfrieda, I am so happy to have had the opportunity to meet you and Joe. My, what an interesting life he led--and certainly left the world a better place. Remember always the good days--the real Joe--and cherish the time you had together. Best love,

I have so many memories of Col. Pace, mostly in association with Mrs. Pace, who was one of my mother's closest friends. He was so smart and could be so funny and obviously enjoyed Mrs Pace so much. These loses are just so tough but we're thinking of you guys.

Joe,
I greatly respected and admired you.
You were such a positive role model.
I remember talking about our times stationed at the Pentagon (at different times) and it was a pleasure speaking with you whenever you came to see me at the Pentagon Clinic for your labwork. It was so nice reminiscing about military life.
It was also a pleasure speaking to you when we had family get-togethers.
Thanks for the wonderful memories.
You will always be remembered...
