Lurlene Grimes and her family first met Minnie Pack and all of her children in the very early 1950's when Mrs. Pack, one of the sweetest people one would ever meet, moved from Mingo County to the Left Fork of Union Ridge. Joe, being the oldest, as I recall was a really nice guy and so was all of his brothers and sisters.
