Not sure what to say?

Joe was my Grandad. I am the son of Charles, who passed away in his sleep in December of 2021. I randomly Googled Grandad's name as part of a family history project I'm working on and came across this page. Thank you to everyone who wrote a tribute here. If any of you have any memories of him, I'd love it if you'd email me at [email protected]. Thanks again for the kind words on here.

Uncle Joe I still miss you to this day it doesn't seem like it's been that long it just seems like you know a year ago that you passed I miss you so much but I am glad that all you guys are together please watch over my family my kids I know you didn't get to meet him but I know you are looking over and protecting them thank you I love you so much I miss you terribly

Miss you terribly.

I was heartbroken to here my uncle Joe passed. He was a very honorable man, and family meant everything to him. I will never forget the encouragement he always offered me. I will miss him terribly but I know Aunt Billie,Becky,Patty, and now Uncle Joe are all together now. May you rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear that my beloved Uncle Joe died. I wish I had known he was so sick. I would have tried to make an effort to see him, I was actually not too far a way, just in Tennessee. Uncle Joe you will be terribly missed. But I can imagine Aunt Billie and Becky and Patty were smiling and waiting with open arms when they saw you.May God Bless you and please pray for me from where you're at. I love you Uncle Joe.

I knew Joe for the 25 years I lived in Mt. Ivy and was very fond of him. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. My friends kept me informed of his illness and surely he is better off now and reunited with Billie.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Joe's family. Joe was the first person to greet us when we moved next door 11 years ago. I am grateful that I got to know how good a person he was and I feel horned that he felt close enough to share so many personal things with me and my family. We will miss him terribly.

So sorry to hear about your loss. You know that God and Jesus are in the best position to comfort us when we lose a loved one in death.

i am truly sorry to hear of Joe's death. we go back to 1968 Iwakuni, Japan. he was a good friend, knowledgeable shipmate and a a leader of men.
