Joe was one of the really nice guys and even though I had few dealings with him, he made a strong impresssion on me. I deeply regret his passing. He did an outstanding job as one of the leaders of the Southcove reconstruction. Without his comittment, diplomacy, brains, fairness and dedication, Southcove would not be a beautiful as it is and will be for years to come. I just learned of Joe's passing Friday evening and wish to extend my condolences to you and your extended family. Forty-two years of marriage is long time together and from the words in the obituary I think those years must have been filled with happy memories that you will cherish forever.
