In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

When i found out Joel had passed I flashed back to High School great memories that I had not thought about in a long time and Joel was a big part of those great times. I had not seen him in years and I was happy to know things had been good for Joel, God only takes the good ones young and now he has a Great One.....Veronica

Big Joe,

You will be missed.

SHS Class of '86

Big Man Joe I am going to miss you and your jokes but i'll always have those SHS memories to reflect upon may God Bless your family and keep them.

Joel:
I still remember trying to steal the bell from the roof of Taco Bell just to be able to attend the parties at your apartment. You are the coolest "Big Man". Peace -Cornell Lewis

I just heard of Joel's passing. My condolences to all the family. He was a great guy and I'm just shocked to hear of his passing. God Bless all of you.

Sending my condolences to the family

It has been many years,
but I remember your face like it was yesterday. You seemed to have touched many people, and will be remembered by just as many.
