Another year has gone by without you. I'm taking good care of your mom, even tho you didn't think I could at my age. She and I will join Heath and friends for their celebration this Saturday. My heart goes out to Joel and his family. It's very sad to hear about his passing. I worked with Joel at TV20 in the late 90s. Several of us played golf a few times and I'll never forget Joel's hockey-style putting, it brought some really great laughs. Rest in peace my friend.

There are no words of comfort that can take away your pain. Just know you are loved, and I am here when you need me, sister.

My condolences are with the family and I am so sorry to learn about this. Joel was such an asset in his knowledge and dedication to MCPS. He always has such a helpful attitude and was a friend to all. I had the honor of working with him with our technology group for many years. My prayers will be with you.
