Not sure what to say?

Another year passes and I still think of you often. Carson just had a baby of his own, as you know, and I am sure you are one of the angels that surround her to keep her safe and protected. Please look after all of our babies and stay close. Until we meet again.

Still missing you all of these years later. I actually just thought of a memory a few days ago, thank you for that. Knowing you are at peace, and knowing that your teasing of where you would end up was truly a joke. You were and are a true angel.

I had Mr. Hummel for Latin in senior year in 1993. We had so much fun going around the room linking a latin root word to an english word. I am just now reading about Mr. Hummel's passing. The World needs more Mr. Hummels. May he rest in peace.

Joel, I can't believe I am writing this. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. We go back a long way and I can't help but laugh at all the memories of us in St. Luke's and on the bus and the corner with Marie. I will always be grateful to you for everything you gave me over these last couple of years. Your friendship and love which was always there; your helpful advice; your level-headedness; your insight when I was clueless; pointing me toward someone and a path that you knew should be...

I can't think of Joel and not smile. You were always so much fun to be with and I'm thankful that we got to visit earlier this year when I was staying at mother's. We had a good laugh. God bless you, Joel and rest in peace.

Dearest Joel -
Since I was a little girl you were my "partner in crime". You always made me feel special and loved, and a hug from you could take away any anxieties I may have had. You always defended me, even when I was wrong. I was then given the pleasure of reliving my childhood over again through your kindred connection with Carson. I never thought you were capable of it, but Tuesday was the first time that you ever made me cry. I will miss your infectious love and laughter, but know...

We were very upset to learn of your passing. You are now in God's hands and will be well cared for. Sorry that we are unable to attend your services. You will be sorely missed by us and all of your neighbors for your friendship, kindness and cheerfulness.

I remember Joel well, although its been many years since we've seen each other. Joel was a talented artist, and he impressed me greatly when I saw several of his paintings.

Dearest Joel,
Requiem in Pace....
Love,
Sandy B
