Joel McCoy Obituary
Joel McCoy was born September 15, 1944, in Conroe, Texas, and passed away November 3, 2025.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and then was an Air Traffic Controller for 30 years.
Joel was a devoted husband, loving father, and true friend to all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, patience, and sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, son, grandchildren, and extended family.

Joel and I met at Albuquerque Center many years ago. He was a good friend and career mentor. I'll always remember his kind nature and great smile.

Joel and I worked closely together as Air Traffic Controllers for several years. He was a great person to be around and one of my favorite co-workers. Really sad for this loss.
