Not sure what to say?

Joel: you were a wonderful friend and colleague. You are missed by all of your residency classmates from Children's Memorial. Eron, my heart goes out to you, Alex, and Emma in this time of great loss.

Eron and family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you. I was one of Joel's classmates in Med School at Michigan. He was truly a wonderful guy, well-liked by everyone.

Most of my insights into Joel come from the birthday party circuit, as our daughters are classmates. At Emma's pool party, I remember being struck by the very appealing combination of earnestness and joy with which he interacted with his children. I am profoundly saddened that I won't get to know him better in the years to come.

Eron,
I only had the pleasure of meeting Joel a couple of times, but it was clear what a kind person he was. I am so sorry for your loss and for the loss to our community. I know he touched the lives of many; here in Philly, in Detroit and in Chicago.
My thoughts are with you.

Dear Eron:
No words can express my sympathy. I think your father stated it best: you are the brightest star in his (and in many) universes right now and you will have to summon courage and strength to now shine forward for both you and for Joel. You are one of the few people I know who have the capacity for such a tall task. Please lean on the many friends and family who love you so much for the strength and support that you need. If there is anything I can do, never hesitate to call.

My heart and soul are heavy with the news of Joel's passing. Joel was a lifelong friend and a wonderful person. My symapthies to you and your family.

Dear Eron and Family,

I was one of Joel's cohort-mates at Wharton. He was a truly great guy and a wonderful presence in our class every day. I am thankful to have known him and to have been impacted by him at school. You have my deepest sympathy,

Gavin

Dear Eron,
No words can express how saddened and heartbroken Carmit and myself feel upon this great loss of a true friend and a great man.

My thoughts and prayers are with Joel, his family and friends. My heart is saddened. I knew Joel while he was
a manager with the Michigan Basketball team. Always a smile and kind word. With love.
