Not sure what to say?

It is with deep sorrow that I pay my respects to Joey. Joey was one of the 1st Store Directors that made an impact on my career & life. Over 30 years I have related stories regarding Joey's friendship, mentorship & leadership that has left an impact on great leaders Joey never knew. Joey had a great sense of humor that he used quite often to get his message across. His smile showed that he loved people & wanted them to succeed. Joey thank you for your guidance.

I am so very sorry for the Katter family's loss. Joey was my brother's best friend growing up in SLC, and we have very fond memories of the time he spent at our home, at the Katter pizzaria, and just growing up doing kid's stuff like playing in their band out in our carport, taboganning and just hanging out in our basement.

So very sorry that he has been taken so young for he was a good and kind man who left behind so many with happy memories. May his entire family be comforted by...

I just happened to look up Joey on Facebook and saw that he passed away. Joey and I were best friends and we did lots of things together in jr. hight and high school. I had quite an experience working in the kitchen with Joey at the Latin Quarter and also joes pizzeria. His dad used to introduce me as his favorite adopted son. I really liked the whole family, Joanne, Johnny, George and even flat-nose. I am sorry Joey is gone, I have thought of him often, memories of my youth, he and his...

To the family of Joey: Sorry for your loss. My father was Louie Kattar. My Grandmother Elizabeth was sister to Joey's Grandmother.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Katter family. Karlene, you were a good friend to me while you guys were here in Phoenix; and Joe, such a hard worker, always had a smile for everyone, and really cared about his work and employees. I'll always remember when I went to see you both in Spokane. Had a great time; RIP Joe. Karlene keep in touch.

Joe I am so sad that your gone. How life can change in one day. I was working with that Sunday you seemed just fine always making jokes saying funny things always making someone smile. You always had a open door policy we could just come in and talk to you about anything. We will all miss you. Our deepest sympathy to your family. Ron&Tammy
