John "Jack" Babbitt Jack was born in Centralia on June 16, 1934. He passed away on March 23, 2017. He served in the U.S. Army. He was married to his loving wife, Carol, for nearly 60 years. He had an outstanding 30-year career with the Tacoma Fire Dept., where he retired as a Lieutenant in 1992....
