Our sympathy to the family. Barb and John were such good neighbors. We shared lots of laughs and have many fond memories.

We send our sincere sympathy to all of the family of John. We miss John and Barb, as neighbors and friends. We know that they are together in a much better place, without pain or suffering. They are probably in charge of "Heavens" raspberry patches and apple orchards.

My condolences to you all. I know it is a difficult time. I was a friend of John. Sometimes within family we do not really see the hearts of people. John loved his family and though he had his convictions he was first and foremost about others and especially about family. We shared a lot over the years. I am stunned. How sad. What a great advocate for the residents of Marathon County. I worked with John on the Transportation Coordination Committee for many years. He will truly be missed. Please accept my condolences.

I served with John on the Marathon County Board and on some committees with John. He was so smart and interested in health & human services and public safety. John was respected for his bible study classes in the Marathon County Jail. We lost a great public servant in John. It was an honor to be on the county board with him. My sympathy to John's family.
