John L. Bash

As I write this I am sitting in the dining room at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary where I spent many interesting hours with John. He was then an intellect of great curiosity and opinion. Being a bit older he quickly became a mentor and a dear friend. I´m so sorry, Amy, about John´s passing and sorrier still that we haven´t had contact for a number of years. I graduated from High School with John and actually attended a party one time at John's home. He was such a nice person, and fun and so very smart. You have my most sincere condolences.

John and I were from Delmont and were classmates from 1st to 12th grade.We were in gifted classes together and in high school did a science project together that won 1st place. My uncle Dan Carr was a close friend of John's father Lysle so we have much history. John was super smart. Fondly,
