To the Beckert family. I am so saddened to hear the passing of John Beckert. I worked with him in Middletown when I was president of the Middlesex Chapter of the NAACP. He was thoughtful, kind and dedicated to making Middletown a great place to live and engage. He was truly a giant,a mover and shaker in our community.
