We were longtime friends and neighbors as well as fellow travelers. We took them to Grand Cayman with us and had a wonderful, memorable trip through Southern Italy. Especially Taormina! So sorry for your loss.

To the Beckert family. I am so saddened to hear the passing of John Beckert. I worked with him in Middletown when I was president of the Middlesex Chapter of the NAACP. He was thoughtful, kind and dedicated to making Middletown a great place to live and engage. He was truly a giant,a mover and shaker in our community. I speak often of John when I share stories about some of the issues and meetings we were engaged in. He was a great man and I will never forget the impact he had on my life.
I pray that God will extend His peace to you all as you go through this journey. One of a kind!
Respectfully
Rev. Debra Hopkins
