What a lovely man. It is a bittersweet pleasure to enjoy old episodes of If You Loved Here. He is missed.

Sometimes people are putting on this Earth to leave behind something special for the rest of us. That was his spirit.

Yesterday on August 20, 2025 I attended a retirement party for Cynthia Cotton who is the Operations Program Manager for Classical Music radio station. The WETA office in Shillington has been completely renovated. Amazing how lovely the renovations fit the flagship WETA PBS station as the media main hob. Of course while taking a tour of my old stomping grounds where I was employed for close to ten years I reflected on the John B. presence no longer in the building. My tour guide David and...

John radiated love, joy, calm, and excitement. He was a real treasure. I knew him from "If you lived here" and was dedicated to his program.

Did not know of this til now. They say home is where the heart is, and he truly put his heart and soul into bringing us all into these neighborhoods. He is enjoying his kitchen in the sky. RIP John, we'll miss you

We loved you on If You Lived Here. Will miss you.

It is 11:40 pm and my husband and I just watched the Rockville episode of "If You Lived Here". I was shocked and also saddened to see the "In Loving Memory" message for John at the end of the episode. I love the show and love John and Christine more. John will certainly be missed. Tami Harris

I just saw John´s passing at the end of `If You Lived Here´. Very sorry to hear about his passing. He & Christina were such a great team.

John, was So lovable, knowledgeable, fun loving warm, humble. I always enjoyed watching him in "If you Lived here", I was shocked and traumatized to hear about his passing. My hear goes to his lovely partner in the program. It has to be awful for her. Hug you.
