John Mario Benassi

It is hard to believe that today marks 16 years. I knew John from when we were both at Heller Ehrman. He was a Good Man.

Fascinating and good guy. I was at U of I for short time and am glad he realized his goals and was so generous.

I knew John briefly in college. He was the man as mentioned in his biography. Glad that he made such an impact. Sad that his life was cut way too short. Truly a memorable hard working gentleman. Lucky, even for a short time to have known him. Best wishes to his loving family and his legacy.

I met Attorney Benassi when he was acting as a prosecutor for the City of Los Angeles. The case centered around a stolen car radio. At any rate, I'd never met a more kind, gracious and professional person. Months after the trial, I reached out to him for some legal advice pertaining to a real estate issue. While this was not in his field, he did some legal work on behalf of my mother completely pro bono. This took place the late 80s early 90s. While cleaning up and going through paperwork...
