Not sure what to say?

Dear John, So grateful to have shared time with you. I am better for it. What a fun and generous soul. Peace, until we meet again my friend. Love ya! Owen

I worked with John at Mead. He was a true friend and a mentor! We had way more hours than I can ever hope for laughing our *sses off about work, life and the world. I will miss him so much! Good thoughts to the family!

John and I worked together at the Mead Corporation for many years and he became one of my closest friends. With a wonderful sense of humor and a brilliant story teller, he was a born actor and a man of many talents. There was never a dull moment with "Bergie". I was fortunate to have been able to visit him only a few weeks ago when we shared wonderful stories about the memorable times we shared. I miss him terribly. Farewell dear friend.

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed seeing and speaking with John. What a gentleman and an upbeat soul. Always interested in what you were up to and always extoling his family and friends. Johnny, you are now driving the really important people, maybe they are driving you.? God richly blessed you and you past it on. Love, Steve and Peg Richards

To the family, I am so sorry of the loss of John. For nearly 10 years he delivered a lunch via Meals on Wheels to my mother Louise DeLuca on DeWolf Avenue in Bristol Rhode Island. I am the son of Louise and was her caretaker for over a decade John was an amazing man and we became very close friends JOHN would sit with my mom and chat with her. She looked forward to his visits. She made it to 91 and John was one of the first people to give me condolences when she passed on July 13th...
