So sorry to hear about the loss of your father. My prayers are with you and your family.

Clara and family, I'm so sorry. John was a very kind and thoughtful person. I had the privilage of working with him for about 10 years at Capital Associated Ind. and getting to know you and your children. Please know you all are on my heart and in my prayers.

I had the privilege of working with John for 10 years at Capital Associated Industries. He was a great colleague and dear friend and mentor to me in my earlier years at CAI. We spent a lot of time together traveling throughout Eastern NC helping employers maintain their right to manage their businesses without third party interference. I will always cherish the memories of our many hours of working together. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family and all others that come to know...

I will never forget the time John sat at the hospital with my mom (Sallie), my sister and myself, while waiting on news about my dad. That was the compassionate and caring man that he was to all who knew him. I had the joy of working with John a few short years before his retirement and during the time every employee at CAI felt like family. He will certainly be in good company up in Heaven.
