John was my brother. After being estranged for many years we came together in Dec. 06. I'm forever grateful to my neighbors for providing the ticket to visit John and Sandy. He will be in my prayers forever. As ever, Charlene Cora

I don't think I know any of John's family. I graduated with John from Jackson in 1960 and was captain of the football team his senior year. John was our defensive center, and nobody ran up the center on us when he was playing. I spent a lot of time with John, and we double dated a lot our senior year. He was the best man at my first wedding in Mansfield, Ohio. I had a partnership share in some of the first horses he owned after I got out of college. Unfortunately, over the years we lost touch...

There is nothing I can say you dont already know. We share many of the same memories. Miss you dad. Finally be at peace. Love you all.

I know none of you in John's immediate family know me, but I graduated in 1958 from Jackson H.S. with Jim Blacksone, John's brother, and I have many, many happy memories of going to Oakdale to play baseball in the lot next to the Blackstone's home. John was frequently the catcher, and he was always such fun to be around. Of course, I didn't know John as well as I knew Jim, but he is mixed in with all of my other good childhood memories I have of living and growing up in Massillon...
