John was a true best friend. He always had time to listen to you. Whether he thought you were right or wrong. He loved his family as well as the Seattle sport teams. May you rest in peace. You will always be remembered.

John defined what it means to be family. Whether he was gracing us with his quick wit, incredible faculty for sports trivia, or his infectious laugh, when he was with family, all was right in the world; for him and us. The depth of his love for family and friends knew no bounds. His example is to be cherished and remembered.

Uncle John will be so missed. He had a joyful spirit and a great laugh, and he was so devoted to his family. He will be loved and remembered always.
