Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home - Evendale/Blue Ash Obituary

John Q. Broerman, age 61, passed away on April 14th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. John is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Beverly Broerman. Devoted father of Megan and Ryan Broerman, loving son of Mary Broerman and the late Edward Broerman, dear brother of Steve (Sandy) Broerman, Keith (Bev) Broerman, Charles (Terry) Broerman, and the late Marc (Lynn) Broerman, dear brother-in-law of Susan Keefe. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

John worked at WestRock for 37 years where he was a corrugated Display Designer, a career in which he excelled. He held three patents for various displays. He was a very creative and artistic person and was very well respected by his colleagues.

John graduated from Moeller High School in 1979. He then went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati (DAAP) in 1985.

John’s proudest achievement in life was his family. The family took quite a few amazing trips around the U.S. as well as internationally. Many special memories were made on these trips. However, his favorite place in the entire world was going to the family island at Lake Of The Woods, Ontario, Canada, where he enjoyed boating, fishing, and exploring with his brothers. John truly loved the great outdoors. He especially enjoyed the family camping trips that were taken over the years, and he also enjoyed playing golf with his golf league friends. Listening to his favorite music (especially rock and roll) and playing his guitars were other favorite pastimes of his.

John will be sorely missed by his family members and all that knew him. He was taken from us way too soon.

Visitation will be held on Friday, 4/22/22, from 10am until time of service at 12pm, all at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Road, Evendale.

Memorial contributions may be made online to BeTheMatch ( www.BeTheMatch.org ) or the Cincinnati Nature Center. ( https://www.cincynature.org/support/honor-and-memorial-gifts/ )

Not sure what to say?

Hadn't seen John for quite a while. As a cousin I would stay at his parents house for a day or two a couple of times. Always had a lot of fun with all five of the boys. He left way too early. While not religious, I've included him in my daily prayers as with all of my friends.

I didn't see John much for a lot of years-mainly when we were all much younger. I always had a good time with him and his brothers. I've added him to my daily prayers. It's easy to see why so many thought so much of him.

I still cannot believe that my cousin, John, who was so full of life, is gone. I will always retain the memories of exploring the woods across the street from your parents' house, family picnics, going to see Caddy Shack with your brother Chuck, etc. Rest in peace.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Always in our hearts as the family mourns the passing of John. Beloved cousin of many.

I've known John since 1968. We went through grade school and High School together. He loved to play guitar and was pretty good at it. I'll never forget the trip we took to Florida and the Smoky Mountains in my first car, a 1972 Dodge Colt Wagon. We had many good times over the years. John will be truly missed by all.

My deepest condolences to your family, Beverly. Please know You are in my daily prayers. You know that I, first hand experienced what you’re now going through. I am here for you & will always be if you ever need anything. Love you, my friend and I’ll be in touch soon. May God bless you, put his loving arms around you & comfort you and your family.

Dear John, though I did not get a chance to meet you, I seen you take real good care of a dear friend Bev. She was a great friend now and during our school years. I can only imagine how your life was with her!! PRICELESS! Prayers go out to you Bev and your amazing family. GOD LOVE YA AND KEEP YOU WITHIN HIS REACH! LOVE VELVET AND MICKEY CROWE
