Today I learned of John's passing and I am overwhelmed by the sadness I feel for his wife, children, siblings and parents. John and I grew up together and were classmates and friends from grammar through high school, sharing a ragtag carpool for 4 years before life, circumstance and geography facilitated a drift.
While many saw John as a quiet, quirky kid with not alot to say, I was lucky enough to KNOW him as the the brilliant, kind kid with a TON TO SAY that he thankfully shared...
