Not sure what to say?

My thoughts have not and will not change. He was still one of the very best.

I CONTINUALLY PRAY FOR A GREAT PERSON AND COLLEGE ROOM-MATE RICH SHEA '58

A friend since grade school days and one of the finest people I've ever known. RIP.

I meant to say I am a family friend, but also Mary Ann´s classmate at GU. We had many good times there and I hope Mary Ann and her kids will be able to remember the good times they had with John. Ursula

So sorry to hear of Johnny´s death, Mary Anne. My sympathy and prayers for all of you. It is so hard, Love you, Urs (GUSN class of 1962)

God bless you John, room mate dorm mate and great friend at the Cross. Will always remember the details of Gonzaga high school which I heard daily and nightly since you never went to bed before two. A great person whom God is rewarding.

John was a beloved classmate at Holy Cross. Few in our class of '58 had more friends than did John. Will never forget our hitchhiking from Worcester to Baltimore (my home) and DC for Thanksgiving in 1956 or 1957. He was a key contributor to our lacrosse team going 8-3 in our senior year, which success earned the sport varsity status at the college. I'm sure I speak for many Crusaders in saying that I will miss him greatly. God rest him.

So sad to hear of John´s passing. We were good friends at the `Cross! My condolences to Mary Ann and the family.

Dear Carmody Family, John was a "best" friend at the Cross as dorm mate and on the lacrosse team. The last time we met was at our 50th reunion and he was a lively as ever. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bill Strong
