Not sure what to say?

We are only transients in this world.
From birth to death, from reveille to taps, we journey between the eternities.
I am proud to have journeyed with Jack and privileged to have call him friend.

Dad: Before I do anything in life, I always stop and ask myself, "What would Dad do?" If I am lucky enough to guess correctly, it usually works out for the best. I will always love you and please know that everything I do in life will always be done the right way. I wish you were able to know Deb, Nathan and Benjamin! Don't worry about Mom, we'll take care of her.

Your loving son.

Steve

Dear Bob,

I just learned about Jack's passing.
Very sorry for your loss. I remember him well from our young dems days.

Dear Kathleen and Family
We were so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear husband and father. We always knew Jack as a very fine and caring man. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Fondly,

General Carragher's loyalty and devotion to those who served under him were attributes that were rare among his contemporaries. His passing on marks an end of an era for me and also makes my world a smaller and emptier place. I will truely miss him.

1SG John and Family,
Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of your father. He was always there to guide us in times of hardship and was a true Soldier. We will all miss him.
Sincerely,
Tony Vallombroso

Dear Dad,

I read all of the wonderful entries on this website and it made me even more honored that you are my Dad.

I loved that you cried at weddings because you were so happy that the couple in front of you would have the chance to have a life like yours. I loved that you lead me by the back of my neck when I was in trouble and when you just walked with me. I loved that I could tell you anything and you would not judge. I loved that you were warm and stern at the most...

To Amy and her family,
My thoughts are with you in this time of sadnes, but may the happy memeries be with you ,and keep you smiling, that 's how your dad would what it.
Thinking of you, Linda
