Dear Flora, Steve & Janet, Cindy Bogue just e-mailed me the sad news of your John's passing away. The last I heard, Flora, was that Hospice was helping, for which I was so glad. I feel so privileged to have known such a wonderful man. In my opinion, John really had his priorities in the right order. And I'm so grateful for the visits we've had in recent years, reminiscing about the past on 23rd Avenue! I wish you every strength possible to get through this very difficult time; God bless...

Steven, I never knew your father, but know the special gifts a father passes on to a son. I didn't know he was an M.E., but now better understand your attention to detail. I'm betting your humor and general good nature, was something you also shared with your dad. My deepest condolences and warmest thoughts go out to you and your family.
