Not sure what to say?

AFTER READING THE FATHER JUDGE NEWS LETTER I HEARD ABOUT JOHN PASSING. I DON'T KNOW THE DETAILS OF HIS DEATH. I IMMEDIATLY CHECKED ON LINE FOR ANY INFORMATION. I FIRST MET JOHN 16 YEARS AGO WE BECAME GREAT FRIENDS. WE LOST TOUCH AFTER MANY YEARS BUT I OFTEN WONDER HOW HE WAS DOING. I WOULD SEE HIS SON'S PICTURE IN THE NORTHEAST TIMES THAT HIS SISTER DANA PUT IN . I WAS GLAD TO SEE HE MADE SRG. HE WAS SUCH A GREAT GUY. I REMEMBER READING HIS FATHER OBITUARY, I KNEW HIM WHEN HIS DAD WAS FIRST...

John we had many good times together. you will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for always looking out for me. you will be sadly missed.

To The Carroll Family,
Jay was The best friend that we all had. My family will pray for Him and for all of you. From My heart I say the Dayton's/MaBrown's
crowd has lost it's Leader.

JOHN HAS BEEN A FRIEND ALL MY LIFE AND I WILL MISS HIM.

Liz and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the untimely loss of your brother, Jay. He was truly a good guy, a good friend to my brother Joe. He was there when my brother and I needed him. For that, we will always be appreciative of Jay's kindness. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this very difficult time. Sincerely, Maureen (Hazlett) Hagerty

To Jay's Family, Friends, and Fellow Police Officers:
Our St. Matts/Mayfair community will miss Jay, a wonderful friend, neighbor, and protector to all who knew him. Please know that as you grieve that we are remembering you and your families during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Carroll family in thier time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. John was a cops cop and a true friend and will be missed by many.

Carroll Family,
What is left to be said about Jay, those of us who really knew him, know what kind of man he was. He did what he did best, he cared about people. He lived his life his way, and I respect him for that. Your wings are not heavy anymore Jaybird, you are free to fly. So long for now Booch

I was so saddened by the news of the passing of John. I worked with John in the 24th district for many years. He was always such a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very difficult time.
