Not sure what to say?

John was a fine friend and brother-in-law. He always had a smile and a laugh and was always doing something thoughtful for others. He is missed! Fair winds and following seas!

I have many very fond memories of John. We had some great times in Beaufort growing up and attending Youth Group and Choir at Baptist Church of BeUfort. It was great to see him on Hilton Head and share a meal and visit. I enjoyed a private fishing charter with my sister Ann and one of her friends. We caught a HUGE shark! I will never forget the Pilot trip to bring a ship into Port Royal Sound. Thank you John for the many memories we shared.

I worked with John Carter on hilton Head island for the Melrose Corporation in the early 90s . John and i were life long friends in my book as we both shared the same love of the lowcountry. he taught me alot about boats as we worked on the William Hilton a charter boat that ran a ferry system to and from Daufuskie island. we spent alot of hours on the water together i will always hold Captain John Carter in my heart ,he was indeed a great person that i was lucky enough to have known . thanks...
