John was a very important friend to our family. His laughter was infectious and his enthusiasm for life was shared with joy. Never a phone call or visit ended without a joke, a thought about faith, a movie reference, a news story. We loved him and miss him so much. `Til we meet again, John.

I met John here in Pittsburgh while he was on a rollercoaster trip. We had been pen pals previously. He was so much fun to be with. John was a charter member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts, which has an International membership of over 5,000 members. He was a premier collector of Coaster postcards and memorabilia. We both served on the first Executive Committee of ACE in the late 1970s. He´s a wonderful friend who will never forget.
