Mr. Cassidy and his family were across the street neighbors with The Scriveners, my grandparents. I lived on Brow Av with them one summer in 1971. Mr. Cassidy had such a wonderful warm and friendly way about him. Jackie and I became friends and his father helped us build a go cart perfect for coasting down Brow Ave. I also remember Mr. Cassidy letting a little child have a short ride on their gigantic family dog. I think it was a Saint Bernard.

Mr. Cassidy for years would ALWAYS remember to stop by before Christmas eve to drop off Reindeer food for my 3 boys...........this went on for many years and was looked forward to as a tradition for us to sprinkle on our lawn for the Reindeer on Christmas eve!
