Not sure what to say?

You were one of the most genuinely gracious and friendly people I have ever known and I am so glad we were a part of your family through our daughter Amy for the many years she was married to Scott. Family was highest on your list of priorities and I always felt like Joan and I were on that list whenever we came to visit Scott and Amy. You were so faithful to her and indeed, you will be blessed in heaven a hundredfold for the blessing you were to her here on earth. I always enjoyed visiting...

You will be missed by your grandkids - Dylan & Mia. We had a lot of laughs and fun times together (memories I will cherish always). You were always there for me whenever I needed you. I will truly miss a wonderful man - glad I knew you and that my children got to know you too.
Love always,
Amy Glover

Dear John "Dad": I will never forget you and how much you used to make me laugh! :) You were always there for me no matter what. You knew what was important (family) and never turned anyone away. I will really miss talking with you on the phone. Dylan and Mia are really going to miss their Grandpa too. Especially Mia - she loved singing and talking to you so much. So glad they got to know such a wonderful person.
I am saddened that I didn't get to say goodbye to you. But I am...

Johnny was one of the best. Remembering back to the 60's, he was my Golden Gloves boxing coach. He was really a great guy and friend. He will be remembered forever. With Deepest Sympathy, Bob Hahn Curtice, Ohio

Uncle Johnny: The last time I saw you was after the death of my brother Julian Zapata Jr. I remember telling you how handsome you looked that day. You gave me the biggest smile and hug. I'll never forget that. Say hi to my brother for me. Love you.
