My parents were good friends throughout those years and my Father, Robert Kershner enjoyed attending the Stock Car Races with John and especially attending a trip with him to the United Nations. I have wonderful memories of our family's friendship with Mr. and Mrs. Cathers and Lynn and Lorie. Our families visited each other often for many years. My father, Dave Cope, and John Cathers were business partners and friends for many years also. I wish the family of John Cathers comfort and peace.
