Coach Clark was my Strength & Conditioning coach for quite a while, and I saw him as not only my teacher but a great friend. He will be greatly missed at HHS. I played for John at Madera High in the early 1980's, and later began my coaching career working for him at Hanford High School. He was a great person, and a great friend. He had a big heart and genuinely cared for kids. I'm very thankful that I got to know John Clark, he had a tremendous influence on my life. My heart goes out to Patty and all of John's family, you're in my prayers.

I am very sorry to hear of Coach Clark's passing. I had the opportunity to babysit the Clark children during my high school years when Coach Clark was the head coach at Hanford High School (1988-1990). What a treat that was! Blessed memories.

Dear Clark Family,
I played for Coach Clark in 88' and 89'. He taught me alot about football and teamwork. Ten years later, we were reacquainted and we became friends. I coached youth football in Hanford and John was always willing to give coaching tips and advice. He has been a positive influence on so many other youngsters and we are all blessed to have known him. Thank you for sharing him with us. He will be missed.
