I played for John at Madera High in the early 1980's, and later began my coaching career working for him at Hanford High School. He was a great person, and a great friend. He had a big heart and genuinely cared for kids. I'm very thankful that I got to know John Clark, he had a tremendous influence on my life. My heart goes out to Patty and all of John's family, you're in my prayers.

I am very sorry to hear of Coach Clark's passing. I had the opportunity to babysit the Clark children during my high school years when Coach Clark was the head coach at Hanford High School (1988-1990). What a treat that was! Blessed memories.

Dear Clark Family,
I played for Coach Clark in 88' and 89'. He taught me alot about football and teamwork. Ten years later, we were reacquainted and we became friends. I coached youth football in Hanford and John was always willing to give coaching tips and advice. He has been a positive influence on so many other youngsters and we are all blessed to have known him. Thank you for sharing him with us. He will be missed.

To Patty & Children. We send our deepest regrets for your loss, it was a shock. He was a fair man in treating all his kids he coached in football, what I remember most, my son Chad Fagundes since his freshman year wanted to play football so bad, but was a little on the heavy side, but good'ol John told him work hard at it Chad, so every year he would, an he practiced and practiced and lost weight. He played almost every game except when he received a cuncussion in his senior year. But that did'nt stop Chad. He was very proud to wear the # 66 uniform and play center for HHS His Parents Danny & Madeline Hill

Patty,

Our greatest stength comes from within the memories we all share and cherish - the power of friends and family is unmeasureable. I love you and miss you my friend and don't forget the YaYa's are always there for you - even if they are on the other side of the world. I want so much to give you a big hug right now. I can recall the times spent around John were always fun ones. His laugh alone would put a smile on my face instantly - he truely loved life and people. We will miss him deeply but his spirit will live and remain strong in our hearts forever. Take care girlfriend - you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Lori

I had the honor of working with Coach Clark this summer. He taught Independent Study and I was in charge of running the program. I also coached as one of his Freshman coaches in 2000. Coach Clark was a true inspiration to me as an educator and I am thankful for the time I was able to spend conversing with him. My heart goes out to his family and those who new him well. I am saddened to hear of his passing and I know that he is in a much better place. Coach, I look forward to meeting you in heaven some day.
