Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs Clayton,

I knew and loved John as a Theta Chi brother at U.R. Am so sorry to learn of his untimely passing. He always had a lot to give to others. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Please know that the Radford University community benefited greatly because of Mr. Clayton's wisdom and expertise during the time he served on the Board of Visitors. He also was one of the kindest gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Our condolences to the family.

To Dear Lynn and Family

We are so sorry for your loss. John was one of the most incredibly warm, caring and selfless people I have ever had the good fortune to know.

I shall miss his enormous zest for life, his smile and his hugs.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you all.

To Lynne,Jennifer and Khristanne our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

I have met one of John's daughters
and have known his former wife for 10 years, and from them, could glean, this was a kind, compassionate, communicative and willing to learn human being.
I will be there Sunday to share in the celebration of his life well lived.
Thank you,
Leila

It has been one of the greatest priveleges of my life to know John. Spending time with him was relaxing, joyful and safe. I knew that whenever I was in his company there would always be an abundance of laughter and learning. John created a learning environment wherever he went. It came naturally to him to understand others, care about them and stay free of judgement. Working with him was like being in the presence of pure electricity. He is an unforgettable gentleman.
My thoughts go to...

... our deepest sympathy and love to all the Clayton family ... our prayers are with you ...
