Howard was one of a kind. A pure delight to know and love. Though you feel a deep void in your heart, you can also feel God's incomparable peace. My guess is that he and Bert are teasing each other just beyond those Pearly Gates. You have my love and sympathy.

His friendship has been SPECIAL to me since we were Roommates at Carson-Newman College during the 1953-'54 academic school year. From top to bottom, "Goofus" was CLASS! Charley

Dear Norma, Ruth, and family,
We are praying for God's sustaining grace of hope and peace during this time of grief. May His presence support and sustain you through the coming days.

Dear Norma and family,
Lifting you and countless friends in my prayers during this sad time. Dr. Cobble has already heard, "Well done, my good and faithful servant". A true man of God and he will be missed.

Dear Norma and Sandra,
Our condolences in your loss of Howard. He made a life long difference in so many lives, including our own. It was an honor, privilege and blessing to have known him and considered him a family friend. Our prayers for strength and peace as you move forward without him.
Love, Doris & Gary McClung
