I'm very sorry to hear about the early passing of John. I considered him a very good friend while in high school. I'll remember him most when he was standing on the bow of his boat and keeping his balance in very rough Lake Erie waters; I suppose he got that from his water polo days. God Bless the Crowl family and thanks for the memories John!
I'll hug my five year old a little tighter tonight.

Crowl family: I am deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. He and I shared many great times together at St. Francis. My prayers are with all of you. I will always remember John as a fun loving, compassionate and loyal friend .

My condolences go out to all of John's family at this sad time. I was shocked to hear about John's death. We worked together many times on the RR. He was a great guy and fun to be around.
