John J. D'Arcy III

I know that Jack had many admiring friends, and I am proud to have been one of them.

Jack was a lifelong friend and buddy. We both grew up in Germantown in the 1930s, where as kids we played football on Wingohocking Terrace and climbed trees near his home on Locust Avenue. We were lifeguards together on the Ocean City Beach Patrol in 1949 where we rowed and swam together on 14th Street Beach and enjoyed the great life there.
