GEORGE & SUE WEISSBERG

December 16, 2003

I know that Jack had many admiring friends, and I am proud to have been one of them.

Jack was a lifelong friend and buddy. We both grew up in Germantown in the 1930s, where as kids we played football on Wingohocking Terrace and climbed trees near his home on Locust Avenue. We were lifeguards together on the Ocean City Beach Patrol in 1949 where we rowed and swam together on 14th Street Beach and enjoyed the great life there. In 1952, we built a boat together in the garages at his "Nana's" Home and later sailed it on Barnegat bay .

Jack had a passion for the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing, and hiking. Jack taught me to hunt and fish and to enjoy the outdoors to the fullest. He enjoyed going to Brown Run in upper NW Pennsylvania each Thanksgiving Holiday to hunt for Turkey, Bear and deer and just to enjoy God's wonderland.

Jack had a contagious smile and wonderful laugh. He enjoyed helping others and being a FRIEND. Jack loved his children with a passion.

Jack will always remain very much alive in the memories of those who loved, respected and treasured him. The world has lost some very special.

We miss you very much.

Love, George & Sue Weissberg
