Rory, this is Jim Gaskill. I was sad to hear of John´s passing. We kept in touch until about 5 years ago. I fondly remember him riding with me to school every day. We did keep up with NC State athletics since he graduated a year behind me. I don´t know if you have kept up any with the old St. Mary´s neighborhood, but Beverly Clark is the last resident since we roamed the streets. I am sorry that we cannot attend the service.
