Rhonda, I just want you to know that John has not been forgotten. Just in the last week, John has come to my mind. I even remember thinking ... Did John pass away? It had to be the Lord. Surely He wants you to be assured of His constant presence. You are loved and the Lord is your shield. Though I didn't have a close relationship with ya'll, we share wonderful memories of our children's school days. Praying that you are doing well. Sending prayers and love to your family.

There are no words to describe how deeply our family is sorry for John's new beginning of life in Heaven.
He was the most generous, kind, funny and loving soul we knew. He never met a stranger, always had a smile and a huge heart.
What he and your family did for ours , there are not enough words to describe the love and thanks.

Dear Mickie, Sherry, Mr. John, Rhonda,
I'm so sad to hear of John's death. He was our beloved softball team coach in the summers and he knew how to coach our wild gang of girls, as well as love, give, be patient and encouraging... He was the best! My heart goes out to you all, as well as my prayers.

Rhonda, I was very saddened to hear about John's passing. My heart goes out to you and the family in your time of sorrow. The few times I met John at the mardigras lot I thought what a nice man he was. If he wasn't busy cooking for everyone he was offering to help me do something. He was always smiling, friendly, and upbeat. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all that knew him. My love and prayers go out to you and the family and I thank John for being a friend.

Dearest Desslle Family,
In my absence of Mr. John's funeral services I would like to light a candle to remember the beautiful life he lived, memorialize the wonderful man that he was, and symbolize the prayers I will continue to send for your family. When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life (John 8:12, NIV).
Mr. John was a loving, caring, funny and friendly man. I cannot think of a time spent with him where he did not uphold those qualities. He showed those qualities in everything he did for his family and friends, in his cooking, and even for those that may have been less deserving. I know that bits of those qualities are passed through every person that has had the pleasure of meeting him. Mrs. Rhonda, Danielle, Matt and Tyler, you all show the most of those qualities as you have built upon each other in so many positive ways. Y'all are an amazing family! I will never deny that it is a blessing to know and have had the pleasure of spending time with you all.
I truly wish you my deepest sympathy during your time of grief. I hope that you will have all the support and comfort you need to continue being a living example of how wonderful Mr. John was. I love y'all!

Rhonda, when I think of John I remember each time I saw him he always had a big smile that would light up the room, He was so proud and so full of love for his family and always willing to help with anything you needed.
