John Di Stefano

John N. Di Stefano of Metairie, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at the age of 99. He was born in Tunis, Tunisia on July 6, 1923. John is preceded in death by Vergie Battaglia Di Stefano after 28 years of marriage and Blanche K. Di Stefano after 25 years of marriage; stepdaughter Michele L. Sellers and stepson Adrian Lahare. He is survived by daughter Maria D. Luce; sons Ronald J. DiStefano (Jacquelyn) and Dino S. Di Stefano (Juliet); stepdaughter Rozanne L. Bailey; grandchildren Eric Luce, Kerri L. Lorenz (Mark), Vergie D. Tauceda (Daniel), Kathryn D. Seibert (Derek), Diana D. Cortello (Dante), Carley D. Carrol (Christian), Adam E. Kuehne (Kristy), Steven M. Pretlove (Barbara), Eric S. Pretlove (Tristen), Jennifer L. Glynn (Chase), Danielle L. Pearse (Carlos); sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild to be. The family would like to give special thanks to St. Michael's Assisted Living owners and staff, Servants of Mary Ministers to the Sick and Concerned Care Hospice, Cynthia Collins, Margie Robinson and Clara Blackshear. Visitation at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4317 Richland Ave., Metairie, Louisiana 70002 on Friday, December 9, 2022, beginning at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass, celebrated by Very Rev. Luis F. Rodriguez, V.F. at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum.
