It was my privilege to be John's pastor at Grace Covenant Church, Arlington, for over 12 years. What a model of encouragement and grace he was to all ... and especially to me.
Norma, Glenn, David, Donna, Annette, and Susan, the memory of John's personal warmth, intellectual savvy, and faith in Jesus as Savior still blesses my life.
My wife, Carol, shares my sentiments and joins in sending our condolences.

Norma, my heart and prayers go out to you and your family as I know this will be a hard time and a time of adjustment. I'll always remember the fun times we had having y'all next door to Mom at Education, Inc. there just east of Arlington High School. Your party store was awesome, and I remember fondly that y'all printed our wedding invitations 35 years ago. Wonderful memories of a much simpler way of life. God bless<3
