Not sure what to say?

Many fond memories of teaching with John. Especially when Jeff was in my class. Honored to have known him. Prayers to all of his family.

My first memory of John was when he was at Yale He had traveled down to Penn State to visit Carole who was a friend of mine. He stayed at my fraternity for the weekend Over the years I enjoyed many great times with them I can´t think of a nicer man May his memory be eternal

Prayers to The Dickson Family during this time of loss. Mr. Dickson was extremely fair, well liked, and well respected. IMO this was due to exactly what he showed every student whether you were in his classes or not. He respected each of us. He was fair & firm with a true gift to get his message through. An excellent, dedicated teacher, coach, and true gentleman. Godspeed Mr. D.

Sending prayers to you all at this very difficult time. He was a great man and beloved teacher.

John was a great teacher!

John was a wonderful teacher, coach and person. We always enjoyed talking with him. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

I grew up as a neighbor to John. He was the perfect "big brother" to all in the neighborhood. He taught us all to play baseball and football with such a friendly hand. He was patient, encouraging, and kind. He and his future wife, Carol, were perfect role models for those of us who - more often than not - stood in awe of this perfect couple. What a privilege and joy to grow up in his shadow! He will forever be a warm and happy memory
