Prayers to The Dickson Family during this time of loss.
Mr. Dickson was extremely fair, well liked, and well respected. IMO this was due to exactly what he showed every student whether you were in his classes or not. He respected each of us. He was fair & firm with a true gift to get his message through. An excellent, dedicated teacher, coach, and true gentleman.
Godspeed Mr. D.

I grew up as a neighbor to John. He was the perfect "big brother" to all in the neighborhood. He taught us all to play baseball and football with such a friendly hand. He was patient, encouraging, and kind. He and his future wife, Carol, were perfect role models for those of us who - more often than not - stood in awe of this perfect couple. What a privilege and joy to grow up in his shadow! He will forever be a warm and happy memory
